I hate life. Im all alone in this world. No one cared for me, just him and him only. But he left me. He promised he'd come back, but....its been more than a year. My best friend, Sora....
Sure I missed Riku and all, but Sora has a special spot in my heart. Everyday I wait on the island sitting on the beach, the same exact spot where he left, hoping he'll come back for me. All thats important to me that I have is my ipod, with every one of our favorite songs. My personal favorite was "Stay Gold" by Utada Hikaru. It reminded me so much of Sora. Of how much I missed his innocent smile.

I wiped the tears spilling from my eyes and stood up to go home. The sun was about to set, and it was getting cold. I took one last look at the sky and went on back to the main land.
When I got home, my little sister, Dawnyella, kept asking me stupid questions. "Hey sis, is there anyone you like? Hey sis do you like strawberries? Hey sis why are you so emo lately? Your such a loner, thats why no one like you." She said. I slammed my bedroom door in her face so she could shut up and leave. I locked the door and fell onto my bed. The song kept playing over and over again, and I began to cry myself to sleep.
The next morning i woke up early, about 5:30 am, and I couldnt go back to sleep. I got up and took a long shower and when I got out it was only 6 am. I sat on my bed thinking of old times with Sora. No one seems to remember him for some reason. I was so happy and hyper when i was with him, but now i feel so empty and lost. I stared at my alarm clock as the time changed to 6:17 am. I got up and dressed up in jeans, a t-shirt, and a hoodie and grabbed my skateboard and just....rode down the streets all over town. Every shop was either still closed or just about to open. I passed the ice cream parlor, the arcade, candy shop. Everywhere we used to go. I know...makes us sound like little kids right? But Destiny Islands isnt much....A small main land town, with various smaller islands around, in the middle of an ocean in the middle of a much bigger universe. I rode to the docks and looked at the sun rising.
My head was shot with pain. I fell to my knees grabbing my head in pain as it throbbed. Memories of the past were playing in my mind, voices and sounds were heard to me only. The pain stopped, but something told me I should go to the island quickly. I quickly got up and jumped into a boat and paddled my way to the island. When I got there no one was there at all. I checked all over, even in the cave where me, sora, and riku used to draw in.
I sat on the same spot for hours. It was probably around noon by now, and i wasnt hungry or tired. I looked at the waves, hoping something will happen. It was cloudy and a bit windy so I hugged my knees. A daily routine for me...... I listened to my ipod again.....and waited...and waited...
A couple of more hours passed, and I was beginning to loose hope in ever seeing Sora again, but my heart just couldnt let him go. The sun was setting yet again, and not a single boat was in the water before the horizon. I looked up to the sky and said, " Sora...please come home..." I cried silently before a shooting star appeared and caught my attention. More and more shooting stars appeared. It looked beautiful. Suddenly two stars, it seemed, plunged into the water. I stood up quickly, slightly frightened, to get a better view. Two heads popped out of the water, a brunette and a white head. My heart was filled with joy.
"SORA!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs and jumped gleefully. I ran into the water as Sora tried his hardest to run as fast as he could out of the water. "Amber!" He yelled and waved. I hugged him as tightly as i could, wishing he would never let go. I cried onto his shoulder while he hugged back with as much love. Riku came up and I hugged him quickly before i went back to Sora. " I missed you two so much...." i mumbled. Sora replied, "I missed you too," while resting his head on mine. We stayed like that for while until Riku interupted, "Hey guys....I kinda wanna go home and theres only one boat...."
"Just take it, we can swim back." I joked while smiling at Sora. Sora took my hand and led me to the boat with Riku. We rowed to shore and Riku headed towards his home. "Sora, you sure you dont wanna go home?" "Nah, I wanna catch up with Amber. See you later," he replied and walked home with me. We held hands the whole way, just talking about random things like we used to. When I got home there was a note on the door:
Amber,
Went over to grandmas for the weekend.
You can stay home if you'd like.

"Looks like Im home alone for the weekend," I smiled. Sora smiled back and we just sat on the couch talking until it was late. "Maybe I should go home now, but..." he saw my sad face when he said that. "....but maybe i could sleep over?" He gave me a huge innocent grin. I smiled and nodded and went to change into pajamas, while i let him borrow some of my dads old clothes that should fit him. We sat on my bed playing video games and laughing and having fun just like we used to. I love Sora, the way he looks, his new deeper voice, but expecially his smile. That cute innocent smile that made me fall for him.
It was about 12:30 already and were werent that sleepy, so we decided to watch a movie and ate some popcorn. I wrapped myself in my blanket while Sora rested his head on my lap. When ever an awkward silence from the movie came, which only came by a few times, I poked his cheek or played with his hair, just to hear him laugh. The movie was maybe 2 hours long, and it was about halfway done.
Even though this movie is a mystery/action type one, there had to be an implied sex scene. The couple started making out on their bed and I could feel my face heat up. I felt embarrassed because im in my room with Sora, watching this, and Im not so sure what hes thinking right now. I quickly glanced down at Sora, who was also blushing with a face that said "Oh my god this is awkward". He glanced up at me and we stared at eachother like that. I wished that something would happen so I can leave just for a moment, because it was getting really weird with the couple in the movie moaning. As if god had heard my prayer, the phone rang......
Wait the phone rang? Its 1:45 at night....
"...Uhh...I have to get...that.." with that I quickly went downstairs to answer who ever would be calling at this hour, leaving Sora in my room.
